To end a lovely week, we’ve been to the newly opened Blithbury Vintage Tea Room to indulge our fancies for all things sweet. Nestled in the heart of the Staffordshire Countryside, The Vintage Tea Room in Blithbury is waiting to provide you with a warm welcome and a sumptuous menu.
With a range of delicious cakes which changes daily, you can be assured that there is something for all tastes. There was never any question that mine would be a chocolate brownie but for Mrs VFAD there was more of a challenge; decisions decisions. I enjoyed a fresh hot coffee while the Little Lady lapped up a freshly made milkshake topped with oodles of marshmallows and cream and a tasty biscuit. Whether it’s a cake and coffee, a sandwich or even an afternoon tea (prebookable) that you are looking for, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is served on delicate bone china to add that extra special touch. With ample seating and magnificently quaint decor, The Vintage Tea Room is pushchair and wheelchair friendly so you can while away the afternoon in a truly lovely setting enjoying cake after cake all washed down with something equally delightful. Highchairs are also available so even Littlest VFAD got to tuck in too.
As well as tasty treats there are also gifts on sale so be sure to take your pennies. Parking is available on site adjacent to the field full of beautiful reindeer that inhabit the lodge.
Currently open Friday to Sunday 11:00 – 16:30, make sure you get over there soon.
