Review: Folly Farm – Pembrokeshire

Folly Farm - View From A Daddy

Whilst on holiday last week to the beautiful Pembrokeshire, we visited Folly Farm in Begelly. Kate had visited many years ago as a child so we weren’t sure what to expect but the reviews were favourable. We were not disappointed.

We had a great day viewing a brilliant range of animals including giraffes, lions and penguins as well as the friendly farm yard animals of whom the donkey was our favourite.

After lunch, we made our way to the little people’s tractors and sandpit area.  Cordoned off for safety, there is track for toddlers to ‘whizz’ around on mini tractors. In here, there are also benches for parents to relax and watch the toddlers have fun.  Separate areas included push along tractors for older children and the more mobile.

There were also a host of arcade games and even a big wheel on which families could take a ride. There was an indoor soft play area where you could eat too but as the weather was mighty fine we savoured the sunshine.

The day was finished off with a tractor ride around the farm (inclusive of our ticket price) and the necessary ice cream.
