We went along this morning and savoured the flavours on offer. Tickets are just £6.50 per adult or if you are a privilege pass holder to Shugborough you can grab 2 for 1.
There are a host of food stands ranging from ostrich burgers to churros. Inside, two large marquees hold stalls with a range of treats. I sampled some of the tasty fudge, my favourite, some locally brewed beers and a range of Indian savoury treats to accompany my dinner this evening. We of course had the obligatory ice cream which was delightful.
Cook offs, man vs food, cookery classes, demonstrations, entertainment for the children are all on offer. There’s lots to see and what’s more, the beautiful grounds are all on view too.
I’d definitely recommend it for a day out and the weather seems to be on our side too.
A great day had by all. Get down there tomorrow if you haven’t had the chance today.
I’m off for my beer and samosas!
