Staffordshire Children’s Services Consultation

Cannock Childrens Centre - View From A Daddy

Staffordshire County Council believes that all children in Staffordshire should have the opportunity to have the best start in life and be safe, healthy and ready for school.

The council are proposing to change how they work with partners, parents and early years providers so that all families can access what they need, when they need it – whether it is information or more intensive support, rather than focusing resources on under-used facilities.

Under the new proposals, many of the Children’s Centre facilities will be used in a different way, either through the county council continuing to deploy them as a base for services or by schools to better meet the needs of local communities.

What is really important is that you have YOUR say on the services and let the county council know what is important to YOU and YOUR children.
