There are some days when you just need to re-group and check back in with each other. This has been one of those of weeks that has led to a day like that so, with the sun promising to make at least a brief appearance this weekend, we’ve packed up the boot, squeezed the dog into his cage and we’re off to the beach. Don’t worry, we’re bursting at the seams with layers and we’re set for some wind burn, but we’re off!
It was nice and quiet when we arrived at Weston. A puppy walker’s paradise! The beach walk was great – I must admit that as this was Rosco’s first expedition to the beach, I was a bit hesitant but he was super, which bodes well for the summer. The little lady’s new love of kicking a ball kept her entertained for an age and as we edged our way down towards the pier, the temperature continued to rise to a balmy 15 degrees so off came the hats, gloves, jackets and finally, the scarves.
Overall a great day out to the beach in March – we even had an ice – cream!
